The Conference includes social programmes before, during and after the conference that will show the culture of the Inca and the tourist attractions of Cusco.
SOCIAL EVENT 1:
On Monday, we start with the opening ceremony and the Plenary Conference of two Awards for Senior Researchers. After that, a welcome cocktail will be served in the courtyard of the Convention Center of the Municipality of Cusco, located in the heart of the history city, near to the Plaza Regocijo.

SOCIAL EVENT 2:
On Wednesday, after the scientific sessions and lunch, a “walking tour” will be organized to enjoy the culture everywhere in the Historic Center of Cusco, in which the following main tourist attractions will be walked and visited:

1. San Blas Viewpoint
You will see a panoramic view of the city of Cusco.
2. Hatunrumiyoc (Stone of 12 angles):
It’s a stone block from the Inca culture that is part of a palace located on the street of the same name. It’s currently considered Cultural Heritage of Peru.
3. Main Square:
It’s the most important square in the city. Known as Huacaypata or the Warrior’s Square in Inca times, it was the scene of several key events in the history of Cusco. Its colonial buildings serve as an example of the impact the Spanish conquerors made in the city.
4. Plaza Regocijo (or Kusipata)
In its surrondings, it is the Palacio del Cabildo and colonial mansions such as the House of the Inca Garcilaso de la Vega (renowned chronicler).
5. Mercado San Pedro (Market called San Pedro):
A fantastic place full of local ingredients and flavors, as well as different typical Peruvian articles – It is main and oldest market in the city of Cusco.
6. Plaza San Francisco (Square San Francisco)
This place has a botanical garden with species from the region, pleasant spaces, nearby museums and even the Church of San Francisco, which keeps the art and history of Colonial Cusco.
7. Church and Convent of San Francisco de Asis
located in Plazoleta San Francisco. Inside the convent there is a monumental painting that is 39.3 x 29.5 ft and that relates the genealogy of the Franciscan family, painted by Juan Espinoza de los Monteros.
