Rosa Maria Ramirez Zamora

Rosa María Ramírez Zamora works currently as Senior Researcher in the Engineering Institute of UNAM. She authored more than 150 articles published in journals (52 with impact factor) and in international and national congresses, as well as book chapters on the application of advanced processes such as adsorption, catalysis, and photocatalysis for water and air treatment.

She has eight national patents granted by the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI) and two patent applications. She has developed about 35 projects for public and privated organizations. Since 1999, she is a member of the National System of Researchers (Mexico). She has participated on several occasions as a scholarship evaluator, graduate program and CONACYT projects, and International journals. She is also an active member of the International Water Association (IWA), the Mexican Federation of Sanitary Engineering and Environmental Sciences, and the CYTED-Iberoamericana Network of Adsorbents for environmental protection.
