PROGRAMME – TYPE OF PRESENTATION

CIPOA conference will contain invited lectures (Plenary and Keynotes Speakers), oral communications, short-oral communications (only for Ph.D. students) and poster communications.

Please find below important information and carefully read the one that applies to your presentation mode.

For Plenary Speakers

Plenary Speakers will have 35 minutes for presentation plus 10 minutes for discussion*.

For Keynote Speakers

Keynote Speakers will have 25 minutes for presentation plus 10 minutes for discussion*.

For Oral Communications (OC)

Oral communications will be 12 minutes for presentation plus 3 min for discussion*.

Please send the presentation by email the day before or half an hour before the starting of the session*.

For Short-Oral Communications (SOC)

Short-oral communication will be 5 min for presentation, without discussion.

Short-oral communications should present the main topics related to the PhD research work and invite the audience to visit the corresponding poster during the poster session. It is advisable the mentors and PhD students coordinate well so the PhD students can deliver excellent short-oral presentation. The best three SOC will receive an award. Evaluators will take into account 5 main points: overall presentation, text, diagrams, content and organization and presenter. Please send the presentation by email the day before or half an hour before the starting of the session*.

For Poster Communications (PC)

Posters should be maximum size of 0.9 m x 1.2 m (width x height).

The participants are asked to hang their posters the assigned day early in the morning and remove them in the afternoon after the last session. During the poster session, each author must stand near the poster so that other interested participants, including evaluators, may find the author and discuss the topics of interest. The best three PC will receive an award. Evaluators will take into account 5 main points: overall presentation, text, diagrams, content and organization and presenter.
